Teen Birthday

Black base card with red organza ribbon from Hobbycraft and topped with a white velvet ribbon. The bow is made from the red organza ribbon as well. The image is free from Digis With Attitude 'Shopping Tween' and I have coloured her with Promarkers. I have layered the image onto red card and added some Anitas red gems. The sentiment was done on the PC and layered onto red card.

If Friends Were Flowers

White base card with backing paper from my stash. The image is Pollycrafts 'Marcel the Frog' and you can get it here. I have coloured him with Promarkers and layered him onto a pale green pearlescent card. I have added a brown organza ribbon and bow from Hobbycraft. The swirls are cut from a Quikcutz die and the flowers are handmade by the lovely Angie on Docrafts [aka JustAng]. The sentiment is Cuddly Buddly's 'Little Miss Greeting Sentiments' and you can get them here. I stamped the sentiment directly onto the pale green pearlescent card and then cut a darker green scalloped shape with nesties. I have added some pearls to finish it off.

Get Well

White base card with backing paper that was donated and is a transparent paper with pink and grey flowers through it. I have edged the card with silver border peel-offs. This little mouse is from Meljens Designs and was a freebie for 400 PCP members and I have coloured him with promakers and cut the shape with a nestie. The scalloped pink circles is a punched shaped and the leaves are also punched shapes. The sentiment was printed from the PC and punched with the Stampin Up Word Punch. The flowers and brad are from my stash.

Thank You

Over at 'Less is More' is a Sketch Week using a DL shape. I have used a white base card and layered some pink card then more white card. I have printed the sentiment direct from the PC using 'Francine' font. The flower I was given a long time ago in a set with ribbon that you have to thread through the holes. I added a yellow border to match the yellow ribbon on the flower and punched it with my Martha Stewart punch.

Christmas

Cream base card with 3 different backing papers [2from DCWV Christmas Multi Stack. Image is Karens Doodles 'First Taste of Snow' and coloured with Promarkers. Ribbon is Papermania Sparkling Trims. Bow, Sentiment and Gems are from my stash.

New Baby

Deep pink base card with gingham check paper from my stash. I have used two different shades of pink paper cut with Martha Stewart Lace Heart Punch and added a lace border trimmed with a pink ribbon through it. I have added some pink pearls and card candy from my stash. The image is Mo Manning 'Baby and Bunny' and you can get it here. I have coloured the image with Promarkers and layered if onto a square Nestie shape of glitter paper from Hobbycraft. The sentiment was donated and cut with Stampin Up Word Punch.

Masculine

This week it is 'Masculine' over at the 'Less is More' challenge. I am not very good with male cards but I have had these 'Flippin' stamps for ages and never used them so here it is. White base card with image stamped onto white card and layered onto pale blue pearlescent card. I cut the corners of the layers and the base card itself with a woodware inverted corner punch. The image is coloured with Promarkers. The sentiments are also from the 'Flippin' Range. Mandi and Chrissie set some really good challenges for us on the Simply Less is More Blog so you should go over there and give the challenges a try - its all good fun.

Bunny Love

Spotted base card from my stash, Image is 'Bunny Love' freebie from Meljens Designs coloured with Promarkers and cut with nesties. I have then layered it onto a deep purple card cut with scalloped nesties. The ribbon was donated and I made the bow with my bowmaker. The flowers are all from my stash.

Yellow & Green

Yellow base card with Green Trees,Snowflakes,Gems and Card Candy all from my stash. The image was donated and I have coloured it with promarkers and cut the shapes out with nesties. The merry Christmas sentiment is a ribbon that I cut up to make to make two parts. I have put an insert in using pale green paper and I have edged the card and the insert with the Woodware 'Twist' blade.

Glitter

White base card with backing paper, ribbon, bows, gems and sentiment from my stash. The image is 'This Buds for You' and you can get it free from Whimsie Doodles. I have coloured him with Promarkers and glittered his shell and the red rose. I have cut the image and layer using Nesties.
I am entering this into the Whimsie Doodles Challenge for this week which is - Glitter it Up.


Spring

I have chosen Pink in different shades for this card. My digi is from Karen's Doodles, and you can get it here, and is coloured with different shades of pink on the flowers and the hat. I cut him with white and pink nesties. My main backing paper is pink gingham with a pink flower one from my stash. My lace was white but I coloured it with a pink Promarker. I have added some pink flowers, gems and buttons from my stash. This reminds me of Spring with the Donkey with his Easter Bonnet on and all the nice flowers.

Friends

All Green

I have used a dark green base card with a leaf vellum backing paper. The image is Karen's Doodles 'Fairy Fun' and you can get it here. I have coloured her with Promarkers and added some flowers and brads from my stash. The shape is cut with a Nellie Snellen Die. I have added a best wishes sentiment.

Sympathy


White base card with sentiment printed from PC. I have used an embossing folder and touched up the petals with a buttercup promarker. I have layered this onto a pale yellow card to make it stand out. I am entering this into the Less is More Challenge for this week which is Pastel Colours.
I have taken on board all the comments and added some pearls to the flower centre.
Thanks Mandi & Chrissie for all your advice - I think it looks better now.


Lilac Birthday

Lilac base card cut with Martha Stewart Optic Dot Edger Punch. I have added the backing paper from Papermania Amethyst Infusion pack. The corners are a Cuttlebug Die and the flourishes area Quikcutz die. The image is a freebie from Meljens Designs and I have coloured it with Promarkers. I cut him out with my circle nesties and then layered it onto a doilly and then another circle nestie. The ribbon, flowers, brads and bow are from my stash. The sentiment is recycled from another card - long ago from my 50th - LOL!!!

Bright Colours


Yellow was my main colour of card. I have used different backing papers from my stash and the image I have used is 'Flower Girl' from Karens Doodles and you can get it here. I have coloured her with Promarkers. The card candy came from my Themed Goody Bag Swap. The Flowers and brad are from the Papermania Capsule collection.
