Happy Birthday

Thinking of You

Over at The Perfect Sentiment we were given a photo to take inspiration from to may a Sympathy card.  The photo inspired me with the colours - blue for the water and all the white on the trees and the ground.  I chose a white base card to signify all the white on the photo and embossed the tall flowers to show the height of the trees.  I added a blue ribbon and some blue gems to signify the blue water.  The card candy was white but I coloured it with a Royal Blue promarker.  The Sentiment was a freebie but can't remember where from.  I hope this fits the bill for the challenge over at the Perfect Sentiment - PSC14.

Daughter Birthday

White base card with baking paper from the Dovecraft Back to Basics Range.  The sentiment was printed direct onto white card and cut with Labels 4 Nesties and layered onto gold mirror card.  The large flourish is a Memory Box Die and the small ones are a provocraft die both cut with gold mirror card.  The ribbon was from a local shop and the rose came from Jacque (http://jacquesmagnolias.blogspot.com/).  This blog is well worth a visit.

18th Birthday

This card is made from the Wacky Wheels section of the Big One CD by La Pashe.  There is so much on the cd.  I printed the backing paper and added the whole sheet to the card before I folded it and then printed the sentiment directly onto the card.  The car is a decoupage sheet.
