Happy Easter

I don't normally do Easter Cards but I took inspiration from the yellow colours of the Bridal Bouquet on Mo Mannings Challenge Blog.  I chose this 'Chickies' image but sorry Mo I cut of your logo as I wanted the little chicks a wee bit closer together. I hope you don't mind. I have layered the image onto an Oval Scalloped Nestie and cut a Dovercraft Tea Party Lace Doilie in half for the bottom layer. I used ribbon from my stash to let the little chick rest on and dabbed a felt marker to make the feeding.  The sentiment was printed from the PC and layered onto yellow card.k  I have added some yellow feathers and buttons from my stash.

Young Lady

I have made this card for a young lady who is turning 12 on the 30th March.  She is a  daughter of a member on the DC forum. The image and sentiment are from a Debbie Moore Magazine and are both layered onto gold mirror card. I have had these cards in my stash for a long time and never had the need to use them so I have decided to use them for a challenge over at Fussy and Fancy.  I have added a gold border Peel-Off round the shape of the card and some little peel off shapes and numbers.

Less is More

Over at Less is More this week the challenge is to use Neutral colours.  Mandi gave me inspiration with her card so I chose this stamp that I have in my stash (sorry I don't know who makes it) and inked it up with one of those little Paddy Pens in Brown. (It took forever to dry). I have used a brown pearlescent base card and stamped the image onto Cream pearlescent card. I cut the corners with an inverted rounder punch and added some card candy in shades of brown.  Still to add a sentiment but not sure what or where to put it yet.

Sympathy

I was asked to make a Sympathy Card for a friend.  I have stuck to WOW and printed the sentiment directly onto the base card.  I put two labels two nesties together and cut this border to wrap around the sentiment.  The corners are a le'abilities die with the corners cut off and stuck onto the corners of this card.  I have added a couple of gems.
