Less Is More Sketch

Well over at Less is More this week Chrissie & Mandi have set us a sketch to follow.  I have use a cream pearlescent card and added the sentiment direct onto the card from my PC.  I think the sentiment could have been a bit bigger though!!  The image is from Habico and I have stamped and layered it onto cream and silver pearlescnet card.  I decided not to put any colour on the image as I think it is okay as it is.

Less Is More 1000 Challenge

Well this is my 3rd card for the Less is More 1000 Challenge.  The flower was handmade by Lee [aka KitchenGodess on Docrafts or Lee from A Wee Bit of CraftyLoops].  She calls this flower a 'Large Floating Meringue' and it is absolutely stunning.  The sentiment is printed directly onto my white base card.  I hope it is okay for this challenge.

Stepped Card

This is my first stepper card made with my Hougie Board.  All the papers and toppers are from the Debbi Moore Issue 5 Magazine.  I am pleased with the way it turned out after about 4 attemps with the board. Here is a side view version as well.  Please let me know what you think.

Christmas Tree

Just a quick and easy CAS card for the Less is More '1000 Challenge' for this week.   This is my 2nd entry so I hope it is okay.  I have use a white base with a Christmas Tree peel off added to white card and layered onto gold card.  The sentiment and stars and peel offs from the same set.

Happy Anniversary

This week at Less is More we are trying to get 1000 uploads for the Anything Goes challenge.  Here is my card for this challenge.  I hae used a white base card and punched out some hearts with a Woodware's Punch. I have added a layer of gold matt card behind the hearts.  The sentiment is from Country Companions Lovers Lane set and I have stamped that with a gold ink pad.  The ribbon is from my stash and I made the bow with my bowmaker.  I hope this is not too much for a CAS challenge.

Great-Grandaughters 1st Christmas

I have had this pink snowflake card in my stash for years!!!!.  Really must use up my stash more.  The image is a freebie from this month's Papercraft Essentials magazine and I have coloured it with Promarkers. I have layered into a pale pink shimmer paper and cut with nesties. The sentiment was printed on the PC and I have cut around it with scissors. The branches are punched from a Nellie Snellen Punch. The flowers and ribbon are both from my stash. As I have used all different shades of Pink I am entering this into -

Seeing Double 2nd Entry

Well this is my second entry for the Less is More Challenge.  The stamp is from Stampin Up and I stamped it in silver and then in black.  I added the green at the bottom of the trees with green ink pad and a paint brush. The Butterflies and sentiment are from a Penny Black Collection 'Teddy & Co'.  Not really keen on this one but I think it fits the challenge.

Seeing Double Take Two

Well for the Less is More Challenge this week I used this stamp to make my card but have to own up to making a mess the first time round as I smudged the ink.  I turned it over and made my card for the challenge as you can see in my earlier post.   I then cut it up to make a topper for this card.  I layered it onto some mirror card and then added it to an embossed A5 card.  I added some peel off corners and some silver card candy to finish it off.  I think this is better than wasting my original card - don't you?

Seeing Double

Over at 'Less is More' this week the challenge is 'One Layer - Seeing Double'  I have used a base white card with a stamp that has not seen daylight for a while.  I have stamped it twice and coloured it with Promarkers. The Sentiment is a stamp that has a flower at the start but I masked it out so that only the sentiment shows up.  I have added a ribbon from the Dovecraft range as the card looked a bit bare.  I hope this is okay for this challenge.

Metallic Christmas

Don't get much crafting done with PC being on the blink so I am still using my laptop.  Its time for 'Less is More' Challenge again and I like the idea of the 'Metallic' theme.  I have used a white base card and I have rubbed my silver ink pad all over the edges.  I have added a white layer embossed with a Snowflakes Embossing Folder and a Merry Christmas Embossing Folder. The ribbon is from Dovecraft Range.  I have used a silver foil  baking tray for the Snowflakes and they are cut with a Marianne Creatible Die.
